BIO
Frederick Stisted is a London-based Photographer and Creative Director who specialises in Music and Fashion Photography, strictly using Analogue techniques. Having originally studied Graphic Design at Chelsea College of Art, winning an exchange programme to study at FIT in New York, he bought a 500TL Mamiya off his mate for a tenner and instantly fell in love with the dark room and the whole concept of processing and manipulating manually. The study of graphics has helped shape Frederick’s unorthodox style, influencing the way he strategically plans his shots. You wouldn’t be surprised to hear that he has shot a whole campaign on five rolls. We suppose from a client’s perspective, great money saving. His main influences are Tim Walker and Francis Bacon.
